Stopping a Backup in Progress

You have the option of stopping the backup of a return . Stopping a backup does not cancel the backup of processed files. The system continues the backup of the return currently in progress, along with the backup of all of the return's associated files and data. No remaining returns are backed up.

To cancel the backup in progress, do the following:

1. Click Stop. The total number of processed returns displays.
2. Click Finish to view the status or each processed return in the Backup Tax Return report.
